Join the Fight Against Animal Cruelty – Together, We Can Make a Difference

At Pure Animal Lovers (PAL) Welfare Foundation, we are dedicated to preventing animal cruelty and promoting kindness towards all living beings. Every animal deserves to live with dignity, free from harm or abuse. Unfortunately, many cases of cruelty, including neglect and violence, continue to occur daily, affecting countless animals.
We believe that animals deserve legal protection and compassionate care, and we have made it our mission to combat cruelty and ensure offenders face justice. Through our dedicated approach, we strive to make a real difference in the lives of animals.

Legal Protections for Animals

The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PCA) Act, 1960 provides legal safeguards for animals in India. This act makes it a criminal offense to cause unnecessary pain, harm, or suffering to animals.
Key provisions of the PCA Act include:

  • Section 11(1)(i), (j), (k), etc. – These sections prohibit acts of cruelty such as beating, torturing, or mistreating animals. Any unnecessary harm, including hitting a stray dog or abusing an animal, is punishable under the law.
  • BNS Section 325 – This provision allows for the filing of an FIR (First Information Report) at a police station for animal-related offenses, including accidents or physical abuse. Legal action is required to ensure that justice is served swiftly.

Our foundation works closely with law enforcement and legal authorities to ensure that these provisions are upheld and that those who harm animals are held accountable.
